St Marys Memorial Hall was packed with local residents celebrating International Women's Day on Wednesday 8th March. Guests enjoyed listening to this year's theme 'Pledge for Parity' by guests speakers from various organisations.

Dance groups, singers, motivational speakers and great food were what this year's international Women's Day was all about.  Community Junction Inc look forwarding to being a part of this great event next year.

It was a warm evening at Regatta Park Penrith, perfect for the family to gather and enjoy an evening of activities and an outdoor movie.  To raise awareness for women and their families affected by domestic violence, The Nepean Domestic Violence Network held their Family Fun Fete on 19th February 2016.

"Mars need Mums" began playing as night fell, and everyone settled down on picnic rugs and outdoor chairs to enjoy the movie.
The event was well attended by members of Nepean Domestic Violence Network, local politicians,  the local fire brigade and members of the community dealing with domestic violence.
