CELEBRATING GRANDPARENTS

On the 1^st November Community Junction Inc. celebrated Grandparents Day with Bennett Rd Public School acknowledging the valuable contributions older people have to bringing up our children. The day was celebrated with 500 children and 270 grand-parents sharing morning tea & lunch and participating in 11 activity stations together including crazy hairspray, photo booth,  1000 scrubs given away by Greening Australia, temporary tattoos, bookmark making, footy throwing targets by the NRL, biscuit decorating, badge making, paper – plane making, reading tent and interview a grand-parent. The day was a great success and Grandparents & Grandchildren walked away with something to eat, a memory to take home & a smile!
